JCLP 2026 First Issue Published
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the publication of the first issue of 2026 of the Journal of Consultation Liaison Psychiatry (JCLP).
As an independent, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal, JCLP aims to promote scientific collaboration at the intersection of psychiatry and medicine, with a particular focus on consultation-liaison psychiatry.
The current issue features a multidisciplinary collection of original research articles, narrative reviews, and case reports addressing clinically relevant and contemporary topics, including:
- Clinical correlates of medical consultation requests in psychiatric inpatient settings,
- Neurobiological foundations of social media use and reward learning,
- Interactions between endocrine therapies and antidepressants,
- Body awareness–based interventions in psychosomatic symptoms,
- A noteworthy case report on antipsychotic-induced oromandibular dystonia in multiple sclerosis successfully treated with clozapine.
We sincerely thank all authors, reviewers, and editorial board members who contributed to this issue. We hope this new issue will contribute meaningfully to the growing literature in consultation-liaison psychiatry and related interdisciplinary fields.
